The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
